DAY 1: ARRIVE LEH:-
Upon arrival at Leh Kushok Bakula Rinpochey Airport you will met our representative and transfer to Hotel for Check in. Complete day for rest and leisure to acclimatize as Leh is at an altitude of 11500 feet. Evening Visit to Leh Palace & Shanti Stupa. Overnight at Hotel.

 

DAY 2 : LEH ( EXCURSION TO MONASTERIES):-

Post Breakfast we proceed for Indus Valley Monastery of Shey Palace, The ancient capital of Ladakh, Thiksey Monastery an impressive monastery complex rising tier upon tier on a hill above the village, Hemis Monastery & Stok Palace. Overnight at Hotel.

 

DAY 3 : LEH TO LIKIR (Drive) 3 Hrs:-

Leave Leh and drive for 3 hours to Likir, en route Spituk monastery, Magnetic Hill, Sangam (Confluence of Indus & Zanksar River) & Basgo monastery.Basgo is the ruined fortress dating from before the 15th century, it houses two large temples and a small shrine. Visit the small monastery with sacred copper gilt image of Buddha Maitreya.The two story building provides an extraordinary view of place around. Arrive Likir, Pitch the camp. Evening visit Likir monastery, which is dominated by a huge outdoor statue of Buddha. Overnight in Camp (3600 ).

 

DAY 4 : TREK FROM LIKIR TO YANGTHANG:-

Trek for about 4 to 5 hours, come across two low passes Pobu La at 3660 m and Cheratsa La at 3700 m to reach Yangthang village. Over Night in camp (3650 m).

 

DAY 5 : YANGTHANG TO HEMIS SHUKPACHEN:-

Walk for 3 hours crossing Tsermangchan La and arrive at village of Hemis Shukpachan.Over Night in camp (3600 m)

 

DAY 6 : HEMIS SHUKPACHEN TO TEMISGAM:-

Walk for 4 to 5 hours, crossing two passes Rongttil La (3660 m) and Meptak La (3720 m), where the trail is along the base of rocky mountain. Descend to arrive at Ang then to Temisgam.Afternoon free to explore the village and Temisgam Monastery. Overnight in camp (3050 m)

 

DAY 7 : TEMISGAM TO LEH 4/5 Hrs:-

After breakfast we drive back to Leh.Full day rest at hotel. Evening visit Leh market. Overnight in a hotel.

 

DAY 8 : DEPART LEH (FLY OUT):-

Tour concludes. Travel To Himalaya thank you for your patronage and ensure a punctual transfer to Domestic Airport to catch the flight for your onward journey towards home.
